Started by a railroad engineer Mr Victor in the 1800s, Victorville incorporated in 1962. The city is located just north of the San Bernardino mountains in the Victor Valley area. Because of the I-15 Highway, Victorville is a major commercial, social and recreational hub on the way to Las Vegas.

Best known for the San Bernardino County Fair, Victorville each spring has carnival rides, livestock competitions, exhibits, a rodeo, a demolition derby, and celebrity concerts makeing it one of the most attractive areas to live in. Throughout the year the fairgrounds also has other major activities that include the annual High Desert Opportunity Business Outlook Show, Home & Garden Show, Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular and Monster Truck Shows.
